A sunny Saturday in Seinajoki proved to be an offensive storm on of the visiting Valkyries on the hosting Crocodiles. Having scored on their first possession of the game, they never looked back and ran away as early as in the second quarter with a comfortable lead for the rest of the game.
Leading the show was quarterback Lyubov Kudinova who scored twice with her legs and twice through the air (to Anastasiia Gortsunenko and Oksana Arbatova), as well as Daria Briukhovetskaia and Angelina Stepkina who ran for a touchdown and more than 100 yards each. Elena Proskurikova ran for another score in the fourth quarter for a total of 368 rushing yards for the game. The Valkyries offense had such a field day that they never've lost the ball or punted in the entire game.
On the other side of the ball, most of the home team's offensive production came from Satu Aumo, who caught several balls from the french quarterback Sylvie Aibeche in the middle of the field, allowing the Crocodiles to move the ball. However, they failed to converted in into points and have only entered the Valkyries redzone once in the fourth quarter, when they turned the ball over on downs.
The teams finish the first half of the regular season on different notes: the Crocodiles still looking for answers and the ways to break their streak, while the Valkyries went back home with their heads up, having returned to .500 after beating Seinajoki for the first time ever.
